As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word file or PDF (in the case of a non-formatted file) format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- If authors prefer a non-formatted PDF file rather than using the word template, please follow this guidelines: the text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

We expect fair, constructive reviews that allow authors to improve their articles. A review should identify the strengths and weaknesses of the work. It must propose clear and precise improvements and, if necessary, requests for clarification to the authors. Finally, if relevant, i should provide a list of minor corrections.
If the reviewer perceives a conflict of interest, he must mention it to the associate editor.
The reviewer must, on the basis of his evaluation, propose a decision to the associate editor: acceptance with minor corrections, acceptance with major corrections, submission of a new version or rejection.
